Week 11 – NOT among the sheep

“I was not delivered unto this world in defeat, nor does failure course in my veins. I am not a sheep waiting to be prodded by my shepherd. I am a lion and I refuse to talk, to walk to sleep with the sheep. I will not hear those who weep and complain, for their disease is contagious. Let them join the sheep. The slaughterhouse of failure is not my destiny. I will persist until I succeed” – (Excerpt from  Og Mandino’s The Greatest Salesman in the World – Chap 10 Scroll III)

This week I don’t have a lot to say.  Instead I’d like you to think about the quote above.  When I read this passage for me, it oozes power, its screams confidence.  It acknowledges belief that we are born with greatness.  Living in this manner proclaims a destiny of something more than… It displays burning desire NOT to be average but instead to take the life by the horns wrestle every drop from it. It reeks disdain for mediocrity and sameness and a determination to avoid the same fate as the sheeple.  Ok I’m done.  What does it say to you!?

 sheeple sorry Apple lovers 🙂

  1. Hi, Kim, Loren here, one of your five friendly MKE Blog Rovers, stopping by to read, your latest; and to congratulate you for the awesome job you’re doing, consistently making sure your blog gets current should you fall a week or two behind! What does your post say to me? Hmmmm! With all that is infinite at our disposal, even amidst such diversity – sometimes even, adversity – we can find that “one thing” – uniquely our own – yet with so much meaningful value for others, it could be taught at the University! So, for all you “sheeple” out there, “listen to Kim!” Mahalo!!

I leave you with a question, “if you knew you couldn’t do it wrong, what would you do next?” Please, let me know if this question valuably resonates.

    1. Ah Loren… thank you for responding… as for your question… I’m working towards that answer now. My DMP. When not if I reach those goals… the door is opened and there is no limit on what can be achieved!
