Week 1 – How did I get here?

Once upon a time in the 60’s my mom & dad decided not to go out with friends.  Instead, they decided to… (…no wait… that’s too far back!)

Rewind…

A little over a week ago I met a guy at a Regional Training Event.  He had recently achieved a level of success I’ve been dreaming of reaching. I’ve been told that I “need to get out of my own way”.  I will do that… just as soon as I figure out what exactly that means.  I’ve learned that when trying to reach a goal we all start at different places on the field.  Some are on their 10-yard line; some are on the other team’s 10-yard line.  Still others are in the locker room.  There are days where I feel like I got directions to the wrong stadium!

Additionally, one of the worse things you can do is compare yourself to someone else.  It opens you up to frustration and self-doubt.  Both are detrimental to your success. Luckily I also learned that we run our on race at our own pace.

Anyway we connected on Facebook and he shared the system that is helping him to reach his goals.  I’ve heard of the Master Key System before… I even have the e-book.  I confess I haven’t read it yet, I have tons of e-books, audio books and actual paper books!! (Yes they still exist!)

When you have a goal… find someone that has what you want and do what they did.  I purchased a book he suggested and started reading it.  I watched the videos introducing me to the Master Key System.  After a bit I decided to say “Yes“…Yes to improving my life, Yes to investing time in myself, Yes to the possibilities!  So here I am… …about to embark on a new phase of my life.  Before I leave… I will simply say “Thank you, Greg!”

Let’s Go!
